These 3D aspects are not entirely accurate: one has an overhanging edge, another has an off-centred, ready-to-roll circle, and another has a mass that could tip over. The traces of tools and unpredictable aspects created by the baking add to the minimalist aesthetic. The clay stays close to its natural and tactile state, and its edges are deliberately sharp and abrupt. Designed individually before baking, the coloured and glazed shapes have then been arranged to form different structures.
